The John Molson MBA Ranks Third in 2010 Corporate Knights Survey

The John Molson School of Business MBA program is ranked third in Canada according to the seventh annual “Knights Schools Survey” published by Corporate Knights Magazine. JMSB’s undergraduate program made remarkable improvements and rose from sixth to fourth in the country. Both programs have ranked first in Quebec since the survey’s inception in 2004. Read more...

July 27: Techno-Science.net - Quelle image projetez-vous avec votre avatar? JMSB's Onur Bodur (Marketing) and colleagues completed a study within Second Life that found avatars are representative of a person't true personality. The study appears  in the Journal of Psychology and Marketing. Similar articles titled What Does Your Avatar Say About You? appeared on July 26 in e!Science News, Eurek Alert, Newswire Ascribe, Red Orbit and Science Blog.

July 23: Financial Post - Danone's sour alliance in China.  Ulrich Wassmer's (Management) study (coauthored by HEC's Pierre Dussauge and ESADE's Marcel Planellas is discussed to provide perspective on Danone's partnership in China with Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co. Ltd. The study How to Manage Alliances Better Than One at a Time appears in the April issue of the MIT Sloan Management Review.

July 20: CBC Radio 1 - Home Run. Part-time finance lecturer Jean Freed commented on the interest rate increase instituted by the Bank of Canada.

July 19: Social Science Research Network (SSRN) - CEO Compensation as a Process and a Product of Negotiation. The research paper by Steven Appelbaum (co-authored by PhD candidate Angus Yongheng Yao) was on the top-ten download list for the  in the CGN Negotiations category.
